Yay - Back to Blogger and other news

Chester here! Mom is trying the Blogger app for this post! The only drawbacks are she can't insert the photos where she wants to - they all are placed at the end - and she can't edit the post on the dashboard, only via the app.

Well, mom is for the most part done with her big ol' project! Not to mention that bug that she caught (which I thought is a good thing but for humans it is not) is going away so she isn't so achy and tired. She wasn't able to concentrate so she thought she'd visit Tumblr and Instagram to post videos and pictures of me. I discovered a lot of exotic shorthairs who post pictures, some from as far away as Japan! As usual, I'm ChesterSmoosyFace. Oh, and mom opened her Facebook page to subscribers who want to follow me. She put ChesterSmooshyFace as her nickname and that's where she posts my pictures and videos, way before she does here!

My human dad is much better. His infection is gone and now he's in a rehabilitation center getting strong and learning how to care for the skin on his legs. That is so good! I would visit him but I don't like traveling!

And finally, today is mom's birthday. I feel like I'm getting the biggest gift because she's taking Monday and Tuesday off to rest and relax. Which also means I'll see more of her over her long weekend!

Here are some pictures she took with her iPad and posted to Instagram. In the first I'm making sure she gets the work she brought home this past weekend done. I'm also trying out the newly vacuumed sofa. I left a lot of fur behind - oops! In the second picture, mom took a break from her work so I decided to take a nap on her hand.

I'm in the dishwasher!

I've still been spending nights in the bathroom sink because I have my spring coat now but it feels like summer outside! I was so hot that I was even in the sink earlier this morning. Mom groomed me today even though I wasn't thrilled about it. Dad's allergies were acting up so mom did a good sweeping and mopping of the floors. Speaking of chores, mom was nice enough to let me lay in the dishwasher after she unloaded the dishes. She did this once before (a picture of that earlier occasion is below) but only once, because she heard the tragic story of an exotic shorthair who snuck into the clothes dryer and died and she doesn't want anything like that to happen to me.

And I'm so happy everyone liked seeing pictures of my family. I guess grampa Remi does look like me! I have the white stripe on my sides, too. I visited crystalpurrs - it was nice to see Truffle and Brulee's mommies!

I wasn't a cat show cat but sometimes daddy will find me pretending like I am one. Here's one of those times:

Chester here! My human grandpa is out of the hospital! The infection is out of his system but it's hard for him to walk and do things like feed himself :( He was transferred to a rehabilitation facility so he can get strong again.

This got me thinking about my cat family. I don't know what my daddy looks like because he was a breeder cat like me but I have pictures of other members of my family!  Mommy doesn't own the pictures so I'm going to link this to the webpages where they appear - you can see the source if you click on the name of my relative
