Exotic Shorthair Chester likes his new home

Even though Chester's arrival was delayed by a day, we were still so happy to have him in our lives.  He seemed to be content - he had both a vertical scratching post and a horizontal one, toys, a cat bed and 2 rooms. He even loved the rug! Plus he wasn't bothered by the sounds and smells.

But the bittersweet fact for us was that the boy came to us on a Sunday afternoon,  soon it was evening, and the next day was work. I had more time before work than my husband and visited Chester. He was an unbelievably happy cat

    1. Hi George, Tipper, Max, and Misty! Thank you very much for the welcome. A few days ago, the only blogging cats I knew wrote in Japanese or took pictures of themselves in tutus (whatever those are!) so it is very nice to meet other cats who write in English and do not wear clothes. I am very happy that I finally found my forever home, too. I thought only stray cats and shelter cats went to forever homes, but now that I am retired I am in one too!

  14. Uh oh - I deleted the comments. I was able to restore most of them but Chester's were lost :( I'm sure he'll have a lot more to say in future comments - and maybe even posts, as it has been suggested to me - but for now just know that he was very happy for the welcomes from other kitties and cat parents over at the Cat Blogosphere.
